Meet Your Loss Control Rep

Our professional staff brings a common sense approach to safety and loss control and shows clients how to comply with state and federal standards.

Marty Hollern serves as our in-house Certified Loss Control & Field Safety Representative. Marty provides our clients with facility and job site inspections, with recommendations for complying with federal and state OSHA standards and DOT regulations. These include looking over written policies and procedures, helping develop written safety policies and procedures, looking over vehicle inspection documentation, driver qualification files, determining what safety training is required and helping find a means to attain training.

Experience: Marty has led General Agency Services’ loss control and prevention department since he joined the company in 2002. Marty spends the majority of his time traveling throughout the United States, conducting field inspections of the company’s various insureds. He provides additional value to the insureds by organizing and directing onsite company safety procedures and training, and assisting them to draft a health and safety manual for their organizations. Prior to joining G.A.S., Marty worked for 32 years at the Buick Olds Cadillac Body Plant in Lansing, Michigan, where he was the Health and Safety Coordinator. Marty is extremely well versed in all aspects of safety and has served as Co-Chair of the Shell Legacy Safety Program for the State of Michigan.
